The rain soars from the clouds that once withheld them. The wind dances with each drop, and depending on the mood of it, they either perform a tango for the audience of the heavens or gracefully waltz among the air. They land on the sweet-smelling green grass and trickle down the stems of the bright flowers, which give the earth color, beauty, and peace. Once these gentle, yet so powerful polka-dots of water meet the fresh soil upon the ground, each one overflows into the roots, giving life to all it encounters. The hills and the mountains get excited for there adventure on the peaks, and then come to a moment of rest in the depths of the valleys. Hills roll until they have met the plains. These plains that have now been introduced to us expose the breathtaking wander of the horizon. Have you ever just sat down and enjoyed a nice piece of juicy fruit? The fruit from a summer tree, in which holds such goodness that makes our tummies smile. The waterfalls of the earth fall upon the foundation of the planet, while appearing like a curtain-giving shade to its fellow creatures, a drink to all who need it, and beauty to the eyes who see it all. This world is breathtaking. It leaves me speechless. It leaves me in chills. It leaves me humble to know that such a person as I am able to sit in peace and soverignity in the midst of it all. We must remember though, this beauty that surrounds us is not what we need to admire. This masterpiece of creation has a Creator, and as the people within this beauty, we must keep a solid remembrance to praise the Creator of this creation, not the created. So……..instead, when I see the hills that roll upon the earth and meet the plains. My eyes then encounter the infinite horizon. I bow to my knees in thanksgiving because my God has given me a reminder of His never-ending love. It reminds me of His love. It places a light and joy-giving feather of freedom inside my heart as it whispers, “as far as the east is from the west, so far has God removed my transgressions from me.” ~Psalm 103:12~ As far as this horizon is before my eyes is the image of distance that my sins are from my identity and name. What a beautiful picture. I keep in mind that the heavens declare the glory of God! The skies proclaim the work of His hands. Precious day after precious day the creation pours forth speech; night after night, each frog croaks and sings to reveal the timeless knowledge of the King. The nature and creations of this world have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. This sun radiates in light, warmth, and beauty. It is directed and protected by the very commands that leave the authoritatively calm lips of the Most High. God has pitched a tent for this sun that warms the earth for you and me. This sun is like the bridegroom coming out of its chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run its coarse for the glory of the King. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived from its warmth. For the law of the Lord is perfect. It refreshes the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The percepts of the Lord are right, giving JOY to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm and all of them are righteous. This world is made of creations that sing and proclaim His laws and decrees!!:) The skies proclaim the work of His hands, and my dearest friends, the works of His hands are firm and filled with pure goodness. The rain drops are dancing because they dance to the songs of worship to the Most High in which they cannot contain. The laws of the Lord, which are expressed through creation are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from a honeycomb. My prayer is that these creatures of beauty that fill the earth are seen in your eyes as the beauty of Him. I pray that the meditations upon your hearts reflect the gratefulness that you have for the Creator and what He created rather that the awestruck wonder and praise towards the creation. For His works are so beautiful! You are a beauty upon this earth that is even more precious than the creations of this earth. For you my love can sing. You can shout. You are here to love our God by loving other people! You are so important! Let the beauty of our God’s creations that are only temporary, inspire us to love for a living. Let the beauty of the skies, which proclaim the works of His hands, inspire you to proclaim His love for all to see. By doing so, others will see your good deeds and glorify Your Father in heaven. ~Psalm 19 and Matthew 5:16~ I love y’all:) Enjoy His beauty this week! Let it reveal the precious beauty within you, which was created by the Creator to love the unloved.
